Do you overly commit to others, and UNDER commit to yourself?
Many of the people I talk with every day have troubles saying “No”.
It feels like it isn’t an option…
They impulsively say “YES”, at the fear of disappointing others, or maintaining a “can-do” image.
They overcommit to others needs, desires and opinions and have lost their voice.
They’re burning out because they’ve been trying to run a business, but get sucked into others work, and are losing themselves to every one else’s ideas, feelings and opinions.
The Key 🔑 to Freedom:
Have a line.
I learned this from one of my coaches Sherri Starr McCusker.
Have a stock answer you give like,
“Hey, I have a tendency to overestimate my energy on projects, invites, etc….I’m gonna take a couple of days and I’ll get back to you.”
It becomes your go-to line when presented with new ideas💡
Your Energy and you Unconscious will thank you.
