In order to have new and innovative solutions, we need to have new and innovative ways of COMING TO those solutions.
Otherwise we are just replaying the same pathways that got us to the old solutions.
There’s nothing wrong with those solutions, but if we choose to do the same things that got us to that place, we can never have new results.
We must innovate the way we find solutions. And a big piece of that is including the body.
The body IS innovative. It’s moving through trillions of processes per second. If we can slow down to connect to, and listen to the smallest fraction of those processes, we can and will find whole new solutions.
As we listen to our biology (It’s called Bio-mimicry) we get close to nature and how it so effortlessly and efficiently creates solutions from what it’s given.
The solutions are always there inside of the problems. The issue is many of us get too close to the problem and miss the forest for the trees.
We don’t see the whole picture. But when we can slooooow down to presence, we can come to the Aligned solutions. The ones closest to our natural state. No effort. Just objective, logical answers that take us to the next place we need to go. In the most elegant way. Without all the added complexity our minds try to create.
My friend and colleague Jim House always says “Clear is better than clever.”
Many of us want to be seen for our intelligence, so we opt for clever. “Wow! She’s so smart, because of how she can conceive of these complex crazy solutions.”
Let your clear solutions speak for themselves.
You don’t need the complex. You’re addicted to complex.
Simple will always come out on top. There’s less will. Less heavy lifting. Less education. Less convincing. Just Less.
Which ironically, leads to MORE of what you want.
