If we DO want to follow through on our agreements, rather than renegotiate new terms, we must instead inspire ourselves and our MindBody towards greater INTRINSIC motivation.
I call it Body motivation.
Not through punishment, but rather plunging ourselves into our pleasure and enjoyment in a topic or agreement we’ve previously been avoiding or find ourselves not holding strong boundaries around or getting distracted easily. Getting our whole being onboard.
Read a book about the subject, listen to a podcast, watch a movie, read affirmations; soak your consciousness/unconsciousness in the topic to bring to bear action.
