Mo·men·tum
(n) “the impetus gained by a moving object.”
To get momentum in our work, we need to feel like we’re heading in the right direction, and with consistency to feel momentum.
The reward centers of our brain need to be happy and engaged,
AND
We need to feel complete.
It lets us psychologically detach from the work.
When we’ve finished something, the NEXT time we tackle the work, it’s a new challenge and opportunity,
rather than that same nagging problem that’s been draining us for weeks.
You feel like you’re accomplishing something.
So you keep moving.
PLUS it’s less likely that you’ll head toward burn out.
Quit losing your momentum…
If you’re ready to find momentum again, or not be bowled OVER by your own momentum, shoot me a PM.
